I did consider aggregating all audio/MIDI towards the MacBook, however, unlike my iPad, my laptop is not always by the keyboard. If I aggregate it all towards Kronos, even if I take my laptop away, I can still scroll through sheet music on the iPad without rewiring. That's why I want my iPad ...

That m,akes sense. I have a similar setup, including the Seaboard, but I run both the Kronos and everything Mac-related through a mixer. Have you taken a look at the iconnect devices by iconnectivity? Is there a particular reason for you wanting to run the audio of the Mac through the Kronos? If you ...

Is there a particular reason for you wanting to run the audio of the Mac through the Kronos? If you wanted to do it the other way round, things would be easier. As for the midi: connect the iPad directly to the Mac, activate it in the audio midi setup and route everything in your software e.g ...

Solved. My second keyboard, an Arturia 61, was hooked up both to the Mac via USB and to the Kronos via DIN-Midi. Removing the DIN-cable solved it.

MainStage and Local Control

Hi everybody, My first real MainStage gig is coming up. I used to have all the sounds coming from the Kronos and I want to keep it as a backup. However, it is also the controller for my MainStage set. This works fine. However, as I have all the sounds on the Kronos as well, I would like to keep it ...

Kronos Remote app and MainStage

Has anyone here had any luck using the Kronos remote app together with MainStage? I want the iPad to be part of my setup (including all the cool apps it offers) plus I don't want to dispense with the handy Kronos remote app. However, when I connect the iPad to my Kronos, the Kronos remote app works ...

Re: MIDI transmission of Set List Transpose - KORG RESPONSE

Well, I finally got in touch with KORG USA Support, and it ends up that the Set List transpose function DOES NOT transmit MIDI data for external devices!!! Here is the email response I received: Thanks for contacting Korg USA Product Support. Transpose only works for Internal sounds in Combi ...

No doubt.
I should have mentioned that I personally prefer the Dock because it is a solid iPad holder, the connection is rather firm (and not as shaky as with the cck) and it charges the iPad.

I love the Alesis I/O Dock (I for iPads 1-3 (dock connector), II for newer iPads (lightning and dock connectors). It has both DIN-Midi port and USB midi (so you can communicate both ways and play sounds on the iPad using the Kronos or use the iPad in the the style of a Haaken Continuum Finger Board ...

That's a good trick. However, is there a way that I can use the pedal for volume on this combination only and use it for something diffferent on other sounds? I am just wondering because you have to set up the control for the pedal in global mode.

Thanks for the comments guys. In the solo, i use 6 flutes and 7 marimbas. Why? I split and pitch in each key the note correctly. Forgive me, I don't understand what you mean. I've had my KX88 since May and I feel like I've only scratched the surface. I understand that you can layer a sound and ...

Great!
What is the pitch of the second (in the original: the left hand part) solo voice compared to the first? And how did you manage to differentiate between minor/major thirds and fouths as they appear in the solo, if I remember correctly?

Maybe you could use the ducking feature of a compressor (an external one, not part of the effects in the Kronos) to lower the music autmatically when somebody speaks through the microphone.

Wow, that's really impressive work.

What about Coldplay's "A Sky Full of Stars"? That would be really nice, including the filtering.
