I am wanting to create some of my own styles. I am not a guitar player and have a question about the chord shapes described in the advanced edit manual (I think page 12). My question is the "position" specification. Is this related to fret position, chord inversion or something else completely ...

I went back and checked my P.T. settings and all looked normal. I then tried exporting the midi file as a type 1 from P.T. and I didn't get that message, but the Pa3x doesn't import type 1 midi files. (Or I am doing something incorrectly in trying to import type 1).

Ok I got the camera kit ($29) and the genome app ($15) and it works fine. When you go to the midi page in the app Kronos shows up just like it would in the audio/midi setup page in the Mac OS X.

Does anyone know if the Kronos can be used with the ipad via coremidi and the camera kit? There's a new sequencer app (named Genome) that looks like it would be pretty cool to use in conjunction with the Kronos.

My Kronos 61 key that I've had for a couple of weeks was just driving me nuts with the fan noise. I don't know if mine was louder than normal or what but I was not happy with it (the noise - loved the keyboard). When I returned it I found out they had 88 keys in stock so got an 88 key version. IMO ...

Thanks. Your video was very helpful. I guess I'm more of a visual person and seeing it done makes much more sense to me than reading it in the manuals.

I have searched for specifics in both the oper guide and param guide but the info is vague at least to me. I've tried doing it myself but with no results. What I am trying to do is bounce portions of some of my midi tracks (not the whole song and not all tracks) into audio tracks to free up the midi ...

On page 788 of the Kronos parameters guide manual it talks about installed options and plug-ins. Does anyone know of something coming down the pike in the future?
