OK, you can definitely do things on the Minilouge that you are not going to do on the KingKorg. Same goes the other way, you can do things on the KingKorg that you can't do on the Minilouge. Actually the Ultranova came first and the Mininova a built upon that synth engine with a few new tricks.

I had this happen as well some time ago, exactly as you describe it. You don't happen to use a third party program to change your set lists, comments, combinations do you? I ended up with a corrupted PCG file. I know it was the file because just happened to have done a backup before it flaked out ...

Ugh... I can only think of two other things:

1) There is another slot in the Combi transmitting on Midi channel 2.
2) On the Tetra: Is the Midi channel in the Global parameters set to ALL instead of 2?

Short of one of those I am stumped as well.

Did you adjust the volume on channel 2 of the Combi on the Kronos? The Kronos transmits that volume level every time you select it so if the volume in the combi is set to max the Tetra will jump to max. It doesn't matter if you adjust the volume on the Tetra using the volume knob that is physically ...
