Thank you Lorenzo. I am not that concerned about guitars for live playing. When I play Jazz, it's mostly acoustic piano and electro-mechanical keyboards. Here and there, I might split between acoustic/electric bass for left hand and, say, Wurlitzer for right hand, that's all. I do like Kurzweil ...

XP works great.

It's extremely stable, all my programs work great on XP. No reason to switch to something else, whether it's vista, Os X or something else.

My philosophy is simple: if you already have a setup that works great and does everything you want it to do - don't experiment.
