Re: Korg ID
I just did this today. I had to get the coupon codes for each software item on Korg Net. Then create a new account on Korg ID. You have to use the migration link in the instructions on the Korg Net page. You have to click on that link, log in to your Korg ID account, and then select one of the ...

Re: Montage 2.0 & Midi
Montage 2.0 still did not address the current Midi situation that many have called for.... having a 3rd Midi Mode (Midi+) for setting Midi Channels for the Parts, this could/would complement the current other two Midi Modes (Single and Mulit) this is still very much needed by many, Unfortunately ...

I tried the horribly convoluted process of migrating. So confusing. I finally gave up. I think I'll just keep using my current Korg Legacy Collection until my Mac dies. The Odyssey plugin seems good, but I have G-force Oddity. I'd recommend just starting over with Korg and registering as a new user ...

I've never used the Kronos sequencer (or the Motif sequencer, or any sequencer on any workstation). I've only ever bought synths for their sounds. Sequencing/recording I do in a DAW. So for me I couldn't care less if there was ever another workstation from any manufacturer. Just give me cool sound ...

It's a toughie as there is not much there that really interests me in terms of new synths, the Buchia probably the most as a source of abstract sounds, but the upgrade offer is time limited until 10th Jan. It is probably worth it for the feature improvements for the resolution/scaling upgrades and ...

I bought an actual JV1080 for $100. It is an extremely accurate model, doesn't require an internet connection, never crashes - and I own it in perpetuity! Plus it's compatible with virtually every operating system. Of course. I have a JV 2080 in perfect condition. So why would I want the RC JV 1080 ...

Would someone please, if they know, post the EXACT procedure I presume you're migrating from the full Korg Legacy bundle? If so, you can ignore all the individual synth codes. To upgrade KLC and purchase the Odyssey in one go ($49.99): 1. Log into your Korguser.net account 2. Select UPGRADE COUPON ...

Yep, still a mess. I was able to a) copy the migration code for the MS-20, b) use that to register at id.korg.com Then I went to Korg Shop, pasted in the migration code for the MS-20, got the MS20 page and applied the coupon code, successfully applied it so my price was 0.00 dollars, chose “Checkout” ...

Re: JV1080 added to Roland Cloud
It has been modeled as a DCB synth, not sampled. It has 1083 PCM waveforms, much more than the original, and coincidentally equal to the number offered in the later XV series. The multi-effects are expanded, with SRV reverbs, though still limited to one, with chorus and standard reverb. Single part ...

I have to agree, its totally unworkable and totally unacceptable. None of us who own the KLC should have to bother with this..or pay AGAIN for what we already own. There should be ONE coupon code for migrating the KLC to id.korg. Not two for every synth in the collection. Hope Dan at Korg reads this ...

Does anybody have an "easy guide" to the whole "migration process" required to actually upgrade to the new Korg Collection if you already own the Legacy Collection? I swear I've never seen a more convoluted re-registration/migration/ upgrade mess in my life. Let's start with where to go first. I ...
