Hi all, Who out there has a Kronos X and purchased the Expansion pack to make the X a 2 version? Make it a Kronos 2 as far as lastest sample grands and other programs offered in the 2 version not in the X version. Please let me know how many files when unzipping the Expansion download? I only got 2 ...

Hi,I got a problem with my Kronos X. I did a full factory restore from the CD's. Turned off the kronos after new install, waited 10 seconds or more, turned on, the screen flashes the Kronos logo and then nothing! I tried a second full restore and still nothing. Screen flashes and then nothing! HELP!

Sorry for the confusion! The sample folder says piano162. The purchase name n Korgs shop is Korg Sound Pack. Updated samples for Korg Kronos X.

Thank you all for your input on this. Still not much help. This is the SG2 pianos. I got those installed. But it’s the other stuff, combi’s and programs that is can’t get in place. I’ll figure it out eventually! Again this sample pack is called Piano162.

I got the pianos installed. But there are other programs and combi’s , not sure how to proceed? I don’t want to screw up what I have installed.

I just purchased the piano162 sample pack from Korg on sale. How the hell do I install this pack with all the stuff I paid for? I have load samples before. But these looks different? Don't know how to put a screen shot in of files on USB stick? I would If I could! Some help here would be awesome ...

Thanks for your input! But that’s not the way I read in one of the updates that were made for this board! I need to do loop points in a MIDI or MP3 file while playing. Not in song book! I will give that a try to see if it works! Thank you!

Not sure myself! But it sure sounds beefy! I thought it was more samples of the grand then the German Grand in the Kx?

I believe and have seen videos of updating ram. And like PC's, the MB in the Kronos should have duel channel memory slots, 2? 2-2 gig SODIMMS achive this. Instead of putting one 4 gig on the MB. 2 chips are suppose to boot and load faster? Feel free to comment!

Will anyone owning a newer Kronos send me the newer Berlin Grand Sample from there Kronos? I have a Kronos X. Which does not have that sample installed.

Okay, can anyone recommend a external DVD/CD player that will read on a Kronos X. I have an LG and it doesn't work!

Hi Everyone, I just purchased a Kronos X 73. And there are 6 pianos missing. Empty sounds! Japanese Pianos, programs 6 thru 11. The 11th one has the string sound but no Japanese piano. Should I try a factory reset????

Hi Everyone, Somewhere I read that there is a way to trigger a loop point start and end? While a MIDI sequence is playing. Does anyone know the buttons to push to accomplish this? I can't find that info anywhere in the original manual. But I did read it, it may have been on the last update issued?
