Kronos X fan replacement with battery

Yes I know but thanks, my date is showing 2009 so will get a resent dated CR2032 and check it with an accurate multi-meter just to be safe. Since I'll have it apart, I've been looking at the main thread on replacing the Kronos fan and it's 24 pages going back well over a decade. Lots of ideas and ...

Kronos battery replacement and Polyphonic AT upgrade

Getting rid of a working Kronos due to the message coming up you need to replace the battery on the motherboard is a bit like getting rid of the fastest car made just because the tires are worn out... except the cost is much lower especially if you do the replacement yourself. The battery in my ...

Re: ASM Hydrasynth Poly AT responds to NRPNs

This probably explains at least in part why keyboard manufacturers are not eager so much yet with the MIDI 2.0 spec. Yes... when I got my Kronos, I was surprised to see stock multi sound voices using KARMA going in the red with just one key in use... so adding Poly AT really adds a lot more demand ...

ASM Hydrasynth Poly AT respond to NRPNs

I was just posting on this somewhere else... but here. .[/quote] Thank you for this summary. I now understand why it is considered a premium expense for manufacturers to add PolyAT to their design and production costs. The older CS 80 ( Yamaha ) and the Roland A80 did have it on their keybeds. There ...

Electronic Music Legend Klaus Schulze has left the Stage

Known as "The" pioneer of Electronic Music and the “Godfather” of Techno Music... but I remember Tangerine Dream and a few early songs growing up that seemed to affect and change with everything else. It would take several pages of information in the timeline of Electronic Music now moving into it's ...

My Condolences...

The news of Charlie Watts passing saddens the music world. He was a true corner stone in Rock History that will certainly be remembered for how important his part was in creating today's music. Glad to see him being so fondly remembered across the Internet. I was listening to the Rolling Stones on ...

Re: CS80V Yamaha bring back Poly AT!!!!

The Yamaha CS 80V had Poly AT and if Yamaha is smart they will bring Poly AT back and that would be great. Still kick myself in the head for not ordering the VAX77 when it was available. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bIkKMHwXcko Have a look at the hydrasynth Yes this looks like a step forward ...

The only useless thing to me here is a synth presentation without presenting it's sound character and demoing it in use at all. Yes... And it's the same old thing over and over again with real innovation being too much of a risk, and even the goodness of the past like Poly AT left out ...

Answer?

I am a couple of updates behind and would like to get up to date. Do these need to be done in order or can I jump right to the newest? Thanks! Same here and I lost the manual;-) So Bertotti what did you find out? I suspect there are issues corrected not being listed and mentioned in documentation ...

I remember that... at first it was exciting as there was some serious growth going on with computers and 3D music. 3D Pin Ball using an Ultrasound Card was IMO to this day the best pinball computer game to play.... for hours;-) and I think there were people inside both companies that wanted to make ...

It's a shame one company like Samsung can gain control of so many other smaller important Companies that at one time made really good products as once profit takes place of free thinking and ingenuity needed to create new and better products we end up with few choices and relatively poor ones at ...
