Thanks for the replies Sweat and keyguy. Nothing doing with your suggestions, but I have now fixed the problem by switching local off on the SP200. Why this makes a difference, I have no idea; I didn't have to do this on the Roland FP-7. Anyway, a fix is a fix and I'll happily take it.
