Re: Octatrack + e2

Is anyone on here using the e2 together with the Octatrack? I 'm seriously considering an octa but i still need some justification for my purchase. Is this a good duo? What is your workflow (sequencing the e2 with octa, capturing e2 loops and process them with octa,...) I use both together and have ...

Hi jim555. As I've already said, dutchcow didn't break any rules, and me being visibly active here right now has nothing whatsoever to do with him either. I can't make myself any clearer than that so stop picking on the guy for nothing. If Spleen had of invented a time machine, he would have still ...

As I mentioned in the other post, I still question dutchcow's motivation. There is another thead that is clearly spamm according to the forum rules yet I don't see one post from dutchcow on that thread. It seems more like he has axe to grind with Spleen than being truly concerned about people ...

So dutchcow, if you are so upset about people "spamming" on the forum, why haven't you posted on the thread started by some guy selling stands for the new Electribes? Are you really upset about people spamming or just pissed off that the price of the software you want is more than what you were ...

Able to enter notes in step sequence using the keyboard mode instead of using the encoder. If Korg would make this change in an update, that'd be one of the best things ever! I think it's something they can implement easily since it's not a modification to their VA engine. There are no complex ...

You must be joking. If I play a long note near the end of a pattern and change pattern the note carries over to the next, and so are FX on pretty much any box I got in my home. This includes groove boxes from the 90s. The fact the the E2 can't carry over note decay and FX tails says enough. If you ...

It is unfinished thats what it is. No note decay and FX carrying over to the next pattern is a deal breaker. Having clicks and pops and artifacts is a deal breaker. Not being able to use all 16 parts due to quasi polyphony and voice stealing is also a deal breaker. 24 paraphonic is a joke when an ...

Before I got my Octatrack, I researched the ESX. As posters on this thead has said, the effects suck. And overall sound is noisy. I thought my Akai S-2000 that I was trying to replace sounded better. I'm not sure why you don't like the sound of the Octatrack. If I want a warm sound, I sample a warm ...
