Must be a language barrier thing. Does no one else think it's weird that the factory samples are all "labeled" ie categorized yet the samples you create yourself cannot be categorized unless you use a third party utility? Absolutely agree. I have loads of kicks and snares and hats and FX and zaps ...

Thanks.
Just seen it in the parameter guide! I was looking in the owner's manual.
It would be useful to have that note in both.

Time Slice stereo samples ES2

Can you time slice stereo samples on the ES2? I only had an hour or so last night and was trying to slice two loops, but couldn't do it. (I got distracted by messing about with the start point of the samples instead and seeing what happened instead of actually importing mono samples and trying :oops ...

I found that. Slightly annoying as I copied the init pattern to all patterns. I've also removed the onboard samples so it plays a random farting noise.

Parts 13 and 14 and then 15 & 16 have choke groups on them automatically, just a heads up in case that might be causing it. What's that sound I hear? Oh.... it's the penny dropping. I'm using the sampler and I have a long(ish) bass note on part 14 and it drops out when another sound plays. I ...

Would be great if korg implemented an easy way to achieve this (only glide on tied notes). Or maybe i should consider a tb3
I've got a TB-3, and it is pretty good for that "tied note" glide. It's still not a TB303 though - don't expect it to sound exactly like 80s Chicago

That's pretty much the best thing I've heard on Electribe's I think. No idea how many patterns you had, how many parts or what was going on - but it's pretty awesome. If t his was recorded straight out of a electribe, then it just shows that the "popping" and "gaps" are not really problems ...

I haven't exported the live sets in Ableton 8 yet, but I have seen that each audio file is stored on the Electribe and easily moved into a relevant audio clip. I am not sure what I'm doing wrong with exporting the audio as live sets: There was one in there which exports (a pre-set) I am assuming ...

They're all good interesting tracks.

I wish I'd had more time as I have the bare bones of a track, but not enough variety to make it really jump out at me.

I'll try to finish it this week and post it just for fun and people's enjoyment (or not) .

Good luck everyone and thanks for taking the time

So far I have used the sampler to programme patterns (mainly beats) and export to ableton.

I've done a bit of recording directly into Live which has been OK.

Mabi, that's great. Something like this in the user manual would be quite useful. Mihata, doesn't really matter how it looks surely? The only person who should see this is the person playing the sampler. Anyone in the audience won't be able to see and certainly shouldn't care. I've seen pictures of ...

That said - since the electribe sampler has the issue where sounds get cut off when changing patterns, how do we feel about letting electribe sampler users export their patterns to ableton for sequencing provided they add no additional effects or processing? This way people can hear their songs ...

Just being able to link 2 or more patterns would solve this. eg- Load up pattern 1, which is preset to auto link pattern 1,2,3 and 4. You now have 16 bars without having to manually change every 4. This woudnt take that much effort on korgs part. The TB-3 does this, you can link clips in Ableton to ...
