Yes Ram you can definitely mix 2,3,4,5 and more instruments .Go to MULTI mode --select an empty patch like number 18 and go to tone page and select guitar in 1 violin in 2 and maybe bass in 3 and so on.After that you should go to the midi channels and turn them all to channel 1.Then all will sound ...

Its normal Bear coz it uses some effects. A patch called village pump also has the crackling sound you said.No need to worry.You X50 is wonderful use it to the fullest
