Omnisphere is amazing and a must imo.

Vienna Special edition is extremely underpriced and great if you want to add acoustic strings/woodwinds/brass to some of your stuff. Even if you don't work primarily with orchestral music it can be good for adding a solo cello line or something like that.

Every forum will have their share of crazy trolls, and the softer the forum is moderated the more trolls there will be. I honestly don't think the forum is attacked by anti Korgs and I also belive that it's beyond any doubt that Korg have had some serious problems with the Kronos. Just saying "Korg ...

I've used Finale for 10 years, but due to syncing with different arrangers I was working with in a project I switched to Sibelius. I can honestly say I worked faster with Sibelius after two weeks of working with it than after 10 years of finale! That beeing said, everything can be done with both ...

Dear KRONOS user, I'd like to differ from the KARO "OASYS" - "KRONOS" libraries discuss in more detail! Here advantage from the KRONOS librararies over the OASYS libraries! 1. All KRONOS EXs libs are streaming now! 2. Most samples are longer than the OASYS version, thus also longer loops! 3. An ...

I also finally got to try the Kronos 88 for a few hours today. Auditioned it first through a pair of Genelec monitiors and later with my molded Tunz in ear monitors which I use regulary and know how they sound. Some thoughts (sorry for my swedish english :)) SGX1 - German and Japanese Grands are ...

1. you will never run out of stuff to do with the Kronos such that you need expansions 2. if you cannot get sufficient inspiration with what is inside the Kronos today.. spending extra money on expansions wont fix your problem! I disagree, for instance the string sounds in Kronos won't ever fill my ...

Just checked the UA 101 spec sheet - it claims Zero Latency. http://www.roland.com/products/en/UA-101/ Guess that's why it's not an issue for me  No, that only means that you can hear the audio you put in there with no latency (Direct Monitoring). With VI:s you will definitly get latency, if ...

Ye, trashing up for instance the German grand will never replace an actual upright sample, they sound different. I don't have a Kronos yet so I cannot answer your question, but my guess is that no manufacturer have anything close to Clavias library. Just tried all their uprights on my new Stage 2 ...

I can't belive how rude you are Ozy, seriously... Posting pictures of the owners family and insulting them, saying things like: "get the f*ck out" and "loser", it's just...insane! What you are writing would qualify for a insta-ban on almost all the forums I use (no matter if what you are saying is ...
