That's not a valid comparison. the comparison is - have the same top Pianist play, say, "Reflects dans l'eau" or "Snowflakes are Dancing" by Debussy (or some other Debussy piece with many shades of colour) on the Bosendorfer sampled by VSL and then on their sampled version. Record both at 24 bit ...

Flash & The Pan I agree, the smoke and the awe is starting to clear with the Kronos, at $3000 it will be obsolete when it's release in comparison to what you could buy with a computer and software + controller. Have to dissagree with you here. Having used my setup with a Macbook Pro, Yamaha S90ES ...

The KSL sounds amazing to me and is a deciding factor for buying a Kronos unless the internal string sounds are this awesome! Highly doubt that tho, seeing as the "amazing string quartet" in one of the movies sounded quite crappy aswell as the bigger orchestra in another of the demo movies. Anyway ...
