That sounds illegal in this country. In that regard, Korg don't decide anything upon the dealer. Once the dealer has bought from Korg, its the dealers choice what price to sell to a customer. Korg shouldn't be allowed to dictate prices, but they are allowed to decide whom to sell to. Not if Korg ...

The actual technology is yet to be known. It sounds a whole lot like samples or wavetables to me, albeit with a very nice interface. I very, very much doubt that it uses physical modeling per se. Yeah I'm glad you think that way too Dan...I was wondering myself are we talking sample manipulation ...

No not in the UK....why???...because they still class it has a boutique and 100% pro piece of equipment.I suppose they are trying to treat it like the Aston Martin of keyboards.I do understand where they are coming from as well in one regard and from a selfish point of view it keeps my OASYS's value ...

Chill out fellas..... This forum has seen plenty of discussion and Korg are very active in listening to what we have to say but I don't think we can slate Yamaha for at least trying to get a response from their customer base. I encourage any form of debate when it comes to improving customers ...

I must stress that it is KORG UK who dictate the pricing in the UK. They stipulate to dealers that they CANNOT sell the OASYS for less than the RRP.Plus they have to meet a dealership 5 star status ,it is only available at these outlets if you want to purchase a new OASYS as some of their staff have ...

Well Mark its a while since I bought mine but the dealer is right ,the price for the OASYS is fixed.I was lucky I part exd some gear when I got mine but as regards the extra's.....dunno its difficult. What da need?A keyboard Stand?Extra control or expression pedals?I doubt they will throw in £500 ...
