Anyone know the midi range of the midi out? Are they 8 octaves?

Does the sampler suffer from the voice stealing problems like the E2?
Could I use all 16 pads effectively without issues?

Great groove box but needs an iPad Air or higher.

The customer benifits from competition, if the open source app has more features it will push Spleen to develop more and vice versa. It's good for the "community" to have more options. Mpd32 is a great bit of kit You can mod it with phatpads from mpcstuff for greater sensitivity too. Definately a downgrade. You said you've used an E2. The sampler is just an E2 that you can add your own pcm samples basically. he's also done his most recent sets with the emx1.
i look forward to if he will ever to a e2 or es2 set, but i think he will only ever do a emx1 + es2 set.. just my prediction
