Download the midi, and check out what sound the board selects.
I can send you the midi if you want.

It plays only the GM sounds! Nothing special. It is not real.

Those are nice links Wings, I found a couple to play with while I'm fooling around with my MIDI soft synths, in Sonar. Still trying to fully understand the principles of MIDI, and these should help.
Thanks, hope all is well.

Why don't you just take a patch like A122 Super Saw Brass and tweak the hell out of it and add then a lot of reverb. It sounds like an easy sound to copy, you're talking about the "Emerson-esque synth horn" lead line right?
The sound was probably achieved on what sounds like a Yamaha CS-80. It sounds analog, which probably means they had to build it out of a preset then too. Korg gives us those 4 little knobs for a reason, make changes then save the patch. If you're stuck, I'll try to work on it, and give you some tips, if I can find a recording of it. Happy synthesisizing.

Got it ...Go to A112 Supersaw

Use the 4 knobs following settings:

LPF Cutoff 4
Resonance 3
EG int. 3.5
EG release 3

go to MFX 2 crank the reverb

Go to pitch: Enable portamento to 11

Save

It's pretty close, and it too me all of 3 minutes and it will save you $$$

I hope you're talking about the Europe song, or I'm wasting precious programming time LOL

I recently bought an LE 61 and am barely scratching the surface of what it can do.

The Final Countdown synth sound is a good start.

Thanks for helping out a total novice. :D
