"Burning Question"

I have been successful in burning a CD using the Nero method as shown that reads from my Triton via a SCSI external drive. Some PCG's are able to load just fine, while others still have problems searching for missing paths or files. Is there a way to correct this? Is there a way of checking for potential format problems before burning a CD?
