Hi there, I was just wondering where I could find an editor or conversion utility for the Korg formats for use with a Triton LE. It does not have the sampler, but I have installed 64MB of RAM.

That was quick, thanks! So I'm guessing there are no free tools; seem like I'll have to get coding then.

Nope, no free tools.

But the demo version of Awave Studio is fully functional for one conversion per launch of the application. So... if you launch the software, convert your sound, shut it down and launch it again. You can convert another sound.

Might be enough to get you going. And if you like... you might buy.

Buying is a possibility, but the file formats aren't complicated so it's not much of a problem to make a quick conversion tool with the possibility of editing.

Okay, I've just downloaded some of the LE patches from the LE download section. However I am finding that all of the programs sound broken with stutters, like they have the wrong loop point. Since I have just got the memory and don't know whether or not it's faulty, can anyone confirm whether this happens to them or if it works fine.

Sorry, but this would mean then that you installed the wrong type of ram.
To get the right kind, have a look at the "Classic Threads" section.

There's a link to a guy on eBay who has been selling ram to the KORG Comunity for 7+ Years.

Yes, I'm guessing this one doesn't allow 11-bit address line access; although I'm in the UK so I'd rather find more local suppliers without the larger delivery charge.

Are there any known, even from Europe, Scandinavia or China?

You wanna know something funny, I found one in Germany that is about the same price as the one I bought. I should have searched for korg memory and not SIMM's, oh well!

Hi Sharp, Its me again. I have the AWAWE software (working 100%), i made a conversion with a B4 organ (hammond), originally was a SF2 (soundfont), here is the link:

http://rapidshare.com/files/58638171/SAMPLES.rar.html

Please, im far from home now and i want to know if this samples are working fine with the Korg TR (i think the conversion is fine). If its Ok, i will save it on my SD Card and load it in my TR.

Thanks.

Dennis
