Modifying Action on Triton Le 76

Post by melbeck »

Hello All,

I have just discoverd this forum after owning an Le 76 for four years.

I have been considering replacing my Le with something with weighted keys. However, I am just overwhelmed with the onslaught of varying opinions of various hardware workstations and don't know what to do.

Albeit, I might just keep what I have until there is something convincingly better (that I can afford).

Anyway, somewhere here I read where someone had added weight to the keybed of a 76 Le. Now, I can't find this post anywhere.

Does anyone have an idea how to do this or can direct me to this post?

Thanks

I never heard of anything like that.

I can't imaging placing weights on the keys would do anything other than kill the response. The would need to be designed to take the weights, not just accept them.

Very interesting.
Would be interesting to see how it affects the response and the ability of the keys to return without bouncing.
