Note to RX noise

Hi everyone
I have just noticed a check box in the global > midi, page which says "Note to RX noise". Does anyone know what it means?

If you use midifiles which use Rx noises, you need to check this box to ear them.
Stupid thing : you must check this box everytime you turn on the PA1x.
