Can anyone recommend a good pair of head phones to match my amazing new Korg M3?

18 pairs??..Sina, I wish you would have mentioned that to me.. especially before backing out of the Oasys Stand you wanted, after offering me $750 for to hold it for you! I know you said you just couldnt get the money together but I would have have gladly taken a couple pairs in on trade. Whats the best pair for about $100??

I highly recommend the Sony MDR-7509HD. Got a pair to use with my Oasys after reading this article:
www.soundonsound.com/sos/jan07/articles ... phones.htm and they sound beautiful!

This is a rather interesting subject indeed, I'll need some headphones cause I'll be playing during night time too. But I think instead of asking here I'll just go to the store and ask the store what they have that's suited for me and I'd test them
Best to buy the most comfortable that sound the best. Should be good enough for several hours on your ears without them hurting your ears at all...

Buy me a Korg Oasys 88, please

hey thanks guys
youve all be really helpful. i'm gonna go to one of these shops here in Osaka and see if i can get one of these pairs you recommended.
Cheers,
Ronnie

For this price maybe you can find a Sennheiser HD600. It sounds wonderful and lets you ear in a very reliable way how your own created sound are "really" sounding.Jon Lord wrote:Anyone can recomend any good headphones for 150-200 € ?
Any help would be preciated, also if anybody could tell me what aspects are important to look at when buying headphones
Thanks

Another option is some model from the Grado line. For my tastes, I'd choose the cheaper model, the SR60, for overall "loudspeaker" feeling.

8hz to 25khz .. clarity and real bass in headphones
8HZ (yes 8!) to over 25KHZ response on the Sennheiser HD 280 Pro
these are Noise canceling and designed for studio Monitoring hence why I bought them for my recording studio
I spent quite a bit of time checking headphones out and the M3 sounds absolutely magic through these. The bass response is amazing. the clarity across the range is stunning. Just play any of the Korg Piano sounds and they sound amazing.. if only I could get something that sounded so good that I can use on stage.
