Keytar with a microkorg

Post by 3rdwave »

I was thinking of attaching strap locks to the bottom left and right side of the Microkorg where the 2 screws are located.

any other ideas or suggestions?

you'll definitely want a handle of some variety in order to balance the thing. i just don't think it'd hang well on its own. you could go as simple as just a stick attached to the body or as complex as a custom-made external midi controller bolted on and plugged in.

Here's a similar idea that worked beautifully: Converting my Kross1 to a keytar. I got 5 octaves of full size keys, with multiple splits, battery powered, under 10lbs, and one of the coolest looking KROG's ever made. https://youtu.be/I7YHznSAEYY
