Conversion of Triton songs to Pa800 format

Post by umanid »

Hi members,

I've just joined this forum although I've been keenly following the topics being discussed here as I'm expecting my Pa800 in a weekz time :) can't wait for it :) Just wanted to know is there a way to convert my compositions on Triton to be able 2 play them on Pa800 with a few adjustments, as I'm trading my Triton for Pa800 ? Might just be possible thru midi but wanted a guidance from u guyz.

Save the song on the Triton as standard MIDI file then LOAD the same
MIDI into PA800, there is no other way.

Hi Nedim,

Thnx for the reply, really appreciate that. But the thing is tht I saved one of my songs as a midi file n thn played the same on my computer, but since a standard midi file plays with its own sound configuration, for example, the drums n percussions in a midi file play on the 10th track of the sequencer. However, on my converted song, it plays on a different track as it was recorded by me while sequencing the song, lets say on Track 06. Is it possible to change it when I load tht midi file into the Pa800 so the drums n other sounds play the same as they do in the sequencer mode? Furthermore, is it possible to apply effects as well on the tracks in a midi file? I hope u got my point.

Yes you can apply FX and as for the drums if they are on track 6 just
apply a drum program to track 6.
