Hey guys i am new to playing and to this forum. I played a friends Korg Triton Extreme 88 key the other day and love it ! But i dont need all the stuff that it does. I am looking for somthing with 76 keys , weighted keys with the sounds of the triton and effects but i really dont need all that work station stuff.
Can you point me to what i may be looking for ? Thanks for your help
What one to get ?

Check out the Korg TR:

It is a workstation, but simpler and not as expensive as the Triton Extreme.
There is also the X50:

It has Triton sounds but is not a workstation. However, i believe it is only availiable in a 61-key variant.
I don't think Korg has ever made a keyboard with 76 weighted (piano-action) keys. For that you'll need an 88.
The Korg M3 has a semi-weighted (and very nice) keybed for its 73(!)-key model, however, that might be too expensive for what you had in mind.
Of course there are also Yamaha and Roland.
Hope this helps..

As far as Korg goes - you can't get the full triton thing without the "workstation stuff"
There's X50 but it's only 61 keys and has the Triton LE/TR engine which is less powerfull than the classic/studio/extreme (the main drawback is only 1 insert effect slot instead of 5).
I don't use the sequencer at all but I still own a Triton LE76 and a M3-73 and love them both
