microX - how to use Combi sounds from Midi sequencer

I don't understand how to choose/use the microX's Combi sounds from a sequencer. Is this even possible?

If you run external PC sequencer, you'd better use MULTI mode. It's 16 midi channel. Combi only has 8 channels.

i worked out last night i would have to build a multi with a combi in.
