1) Please make it so that automation sysex is not displayed without any attribution whatsoever. Maybe even make it editable.

2) In dialogs like Copy Measure please show the song name rather than just the number

3) Patterns in the MIDI event editor should be shown with their names not just the pattern number, additionally it would be useful to be able to change the pattern being used right there in the editor.

4) It would be nice to have a way to automagically expand all of the MIDI Track Loop'ed data to fill the length of the song. Rather than having to do a bunch of Repeat Measure commands to do this. This would give you the opportunity to create material that is ready to add to the main "arrangement" song using the Copy Measure command.

me,
very simple,

would LOVE to se just an OS upgrade without the LAC, MOD7, or new samples, would love to have a better sequencer, and almost all what is already posted here, and Yes, each time when we boot to recall the samples is kind of crazy...Would aslo love to have a more flexible GLOBAL, a one where you could truly keep say, differents settings...

Would also love to have the ability to edit some Preset Karma, but, without an external software...on the Custom, because, we do have a Custom, in the Oasys, but, only we can use with a software, not by itself...

Open ? really?

almost 2 years, now I have the Oasys, and for OS upgrade, I did not see so much, sorry to be harsh...

Daz, you are very nice to start all over again, but, frankly we already had given so manies wishes list, then ? on percentage? what went for real? since O  asys is OUT ? and the M3, is here and tomorrow ?

and yes, it would be nice to have a little light, and when we REC or play to see witch track is truly sending or receiving data....working, like in any normal sequencer softwares...too much guessing...

Also, how could it be to move the START STOP button, to another place on the Oasys...The extreme left is very far when playing, and, if we could have also with the pedals more flexibility to start-stop with one pedal the sustain for example and with the other pedal to START-STOP the Karma, that would be great...Maybe I miss something here...

thanks to listen to us

2 years is not very long in software development terms, especially since Korg is not really a big company. They look like a big company and do big things, but really there aren't so many people working on this stuff. So I am not giving up hope just yet and think it's advisable to keep posting these wishes. Keep posting the wishes !

Developing and releasing STR-1, LAC-1 and MOD-7 is really more of an achievement than once might imagine. Just the three pieces alone are like a whole new product.

More wishes (again repeated from olde days for completeness)

1) The ability to quickly save the song to disk without going into disk mode.

2) Motif XS "Mixing" type thing (i.e. embedded custom sounds in the song itself)

3) Drum programming tools.

4) Always show names for named items and not just numbers. Show graphic for curve options not numbered options !!

1)Inser the Ardour DAW: http://ardour.org/
2)External TFT monitor 19"
3)Mouse, PC keyb, Network interface
4)Upgrade the Mainboard with the new CPU Dual core generation
5)Expanding the RAM to min 8Gb for the Sampler module
6)Allow to streaming GIGA or Kontakt samples.
7)Change the HD to 3.5" SATA instead of the slow limited 2.5" HD IDE
8)VST Support we can forget we know that, but after this new H/W upgrade I will be interested to buy it again.

The ONLY thing that Sequencer is lacking is 480 PPQN and that's ONLY because of KARMA
M3 have a 480 ppqn sequencer and Karma II

I would like to use OASYS sequencer as follows :
- first record a "background" theme
- then playback this theme and record at the same time more stuff onto it.
The idea is to (real time) record while hearing recorded background.
Is it possible ? Thanks for your help !!

Just use a different track to record your lead under your backing track. You'll hear the others tracks in Record mode. This doesn't apply to only the OASYS but also the whole Triton family

Happy to hear from Canada, I lived there for 4 years and wife is ontarian. I am not sure you are french speaking so I keep writing in english, plus others can profit from answers or bring them.

Another question which I think the answer is no...
let's say I was using a combi for background record, can I change combi for the lead ?

You can't copy a combi on another in sequencer mode. But you can try to reproduce the lead combi in free MIDI tracks using programming skills.

I would like to see a global "Count off " option as opposed to a per sequence one, this means not having to change it for every sequence as we currently have to.
