Logic or Pro Tools

Post by pjblues »

I have Pro Tools LE with a surface controller hooked up to my new MAC and I can tell you it works great. However, I am buying Logic 8. I am switching over to Logic because I believe it has much easier features and bringing Ableton Live into it and the whole sync thing.

Maybe do final mastering in Pro Tools.

I am very impressed with the MAC and Logic is ideally suited for the MAC.

I would go for LP8, it's a really powerful package. PT is probably only really compelling if you're tracking primarily audio and of course using their DSP and I/O hardware.

Logic It Is

Thanks DAZ, I am going to go with Logic 8. It looks like it has most of the bells and whistles.
