I need Foot Pedal to Start/Stop Patterns

Post by Satish Rahi »

Is there a way to use Foot Pedal to start stop patterns. I can't use Sequencer Start/Stop since sometime you can't get the timing right. A pattern should start on the beat always as on a touch of a key RPPR. It is not easy to use RPPR with touch of finger when playing with both hands. Foot Pedal is right Input except it is not supported.
This is a seious handicap to live playing to not have a midi message. I think you can do this on Drum Machines.... Any work arounds

1) Sharp, Daz, anyone?
2) Is this theortically impossible?
3) No other keyboard / drum machine has this feature?
4) Is this not a useful feature for live performance ?
5) Anyone plays sequenced rythems/patterns on keyboard in a live performance?
6) If yes, how do you start/stop to stay in sync with singer and others?
