Need user manual for Korg AM8000R effect processor

Post by hovmod »

I bought an AM8000R the other day, and I can't find a manual anywhere online. Does anyone have the manual for the AM8000R so I can dive a little deeper into it?

Original, pdf, faxed xerox copy, anything goes. :D

If anyone else needs a manual for the AM8000R, I suggest contacting Korg support. They e-mailed me a PDF of it in a matter of hours (excellent service) and stated that to get a hardcopy, you could order it through an authorized Korg dealer. Just passing this on in case other owners may find it helpful.

Manual for AM8000R

Post by DoctorNash »

Hi all. I too have recently acquired an AM8000R with no manual.

Braincandy suggets to contact 'KORG Support'. I'm located in Melbourne Australia. I wouldn't mind emulating Braincandy's success in receiving a 'PDF from KORG Support in a matter of hours', so could someone please advise who or what this 'KORG Support' is - any links please? Whatever KORG Support sites I've visited ask for registration with a new product purchase.

Alternatively, could someone please email me a PDF if they have it, or post a photocopy (any of the alternatives hovmod mentioned are indeed acceptable). Will pay if needed.

Anyone know why KORG don't have this available online?

Also, the unit I have is a Japanese import. The adapter says 100V. Is a 240V->110V stepdown transformer OK, or does it have to be 240V->100V?

If there's someone out there in OZ successfully using an imported unit, could you advise please what converter you're using with it and I'll ebay myself one of those.

Don't really relish the idea of being left stranded with a fantastic but unuseable effects unit because I toasted the adapter...
