making a template to control my micro-x

hey, i have a Novation 61SL i'm trying to setup to control my micro-x
so that i can use it like a soundmodule live

most of the realtime controls seem pretty straight forward
i'm using Midi-ox to read the midi data transmitted when i adjust the knobs
they're all standard CC numbers
except the arp controls, they seem to send a sysex message and an nrpn message
i dont know much about these sorts of messages.
anyone else had any luck with controlling their micro-x?

advice?
