KORG Pa1X Patch Names

Post by docclo2 »

Is there a patch name download for the Korg Pa1x pro elite in order to list it in the midi file names on Pro tools 7.3?

Hi docclo2,

Isn't Pro Tools a PC-based digital audio recording studio? In other words, doesn't it takes audio in, digitise it and record in a digitized audio format such as a .WAV file? In which case why would you need a patch name map for the Pa1x? The patch names are normally only relevant to selecting MIDI patches (sounds) in tracks used in MIDI sequencers/ MIDI recording when a .MID or .SMF file is being created.

Anyway, in case you want to see a Pa1x patch name map, I posted a spreadsheet here which you can play with, but I don't think there will be any relevance to using it with Pro Tools.
