Radias Engine for Oasys????

Post by KarmaKazi »

I'd like to 2nd that emotion.

I have an M3-61 with the Radias board and want to upgrade to an "O."

No Radias soft-synth is one thing that holds me back; the other is money.

Well I can kill something and drag it home for cash, but with cash and no Radias ~ why bother.

2 quick links:

The synth keyboard:
http://www.zzounds.com/item--KORRADIAS

The EXB add in board:
http://www.zzounds.com/item--KOREXBRADIAS

The first one listed can also be added to the M3-88 as a side-by-side Radias synth controller module that sits next to the M3 (or you can have 2 M3 modules on the M3-88 ). 8)

Radias is a Korg synthesizer that was most probably derived from the AL-1 ENGINE FROM THE OASYS!!

Except from some minor differences, there's no reason to put a Radias in the Oasys, it's already there!!!!

Now, it would be great to have more Radias-style presets in the Oasys..

Just out of curiosity ... what do people want from the Radias that you don't already have the Oasys and it's various EXi ?

That's a good start 8) Any more ?

What I would really like is the 4 part Program structure of the Radias in the Oasys :-)

Do you want the Radias or the Radias presets?

FORMANT MORPHING FILTER

Maybe, it can be an EXf. Hopefully, we get something with the EXf extension, soon.

Couple that with the MOD-7 and we can do some Yamaha FS1R...and Radias tricks. :D

I was going to post something last night about NAMM/EXF's etc, and "Were are these EXF's etc"

I received Your DVD Mike, and it’s far better than I thought. It longer than Ben Hur - and even more Epic  You did some Tutorials on your DVD Which included EFX which was great

When you started on the Sequencer/recording/EFX, I Just wanted it to go on... and on.....Maybe a Sequence Tutorial next time? (must include Step record though (a request  )

Back OT, A Radias? like a few above have hinted/suggested, what would you need one for on an "already" jam-packed board like the O?,

I am planning Part 2, following the completion of EXILE. I will be scoring the movie with the OASYS and its sequencer, so I'm hoping to pull something from those sessions for the new DVD.

Regardless, there will be much more focus on Combis, the Sequencer, Audio files, CD writing, routing audio through the synths etc. Consider your request accepted. :D
