Hey there..
this may sound stupid, but I need to fit a x50 in a air/cargo case.
The x50 will fit, if i saw off the handles.
Is there any electronics in the handles.??

Cut off X50 Handles..?? Is there any wires in the handles.?

what about just taking the screws off and taking the handels off and then you can save them 
. Plus you are not going to make a mess. It is really easy there are just a LOT of screws back there. But the handels are not attached to the case with anything but screws, and I can say you won't destroy anything so don't be a afraid to do it.
And no there are no electronics in handels, but just screw it open and they will drop out.
BTW do you mean that you have to saw both the grey and black part of the handel. I am not sure but I remember that the black area acualy might have had some electronics (the MIC out). anyway just open it and you will see.
