serieus problems with the micro x plug in editor

Post by paragon »

Hello,

im currently working on a project or was working on a project to be precise
in ableton live 6 i created a combi patch with the plug in editor on a midi track as part of the song everything went fairly well (except for the fact that the micro x didnt seem to sync well with live)
untill i closed the project and then tried to open it again
(i wanted to see if all the settings i changed in the editor would be recalled as i reopened the song) everything went well untill suddenly during synchronization between the editor and the micro x, live shows a message that a serious program error occurred so i close down the program and reopen it but again i receive that an error has occurred and that live needs to close then i closed everything and shut the micro x off , restarted my pc
and start over but again the dreaded error message pops up so now im having a serious problem !

i have the 1.0.5 version of the editor and live 6 1.0.10

anyone? is there perhaps an email adress to contact korg support about this i cant find to seem anything on the website

im also still having sync problems ive set up live as the sync master as according to its manual and the right top on the micro x' tempo says "ext"
and i can see live is sending sync data to the micro x but the two tempo's just dont match

im gonna try and see if installing the editor version 1.0.3 that came with the cd makes it more stable maybe also try a different usb port on my pc to see if that solves the problem but any suggestions are more then welcome

Ok now i get runtime errors saying that the application requested it to be terminated by runtime in an unusual way

this is only happens when i want to open a saved live project
that contains the micro x plug in editor on one of its tracks

i dont have any problems opening projects that do not contain
the plug in so this is clear evidence that the problem lies with the
micro x plug in
