New R3 Patch - BassSawM

Post by xmlguy »

Here's another new R3 Patch - BassSawM

First of all, it's unlike any of the factory bass patches.

The goals:

Phat Dynamic Punch - Velocity is rewarded
Lots of stereo motion, vibrant but subtle
Great for sustained notes and latched ARP
ARP turned off by default, but will be a single note arp that doesn't interfere with the voice motion when engaged.
Mod Wheel set to serious tube model overdrive with harmonics
Portamento turned off by default but assigned to Knob 4 for very interesting variation, particularly with high velocity.

If you want to try the patch, send an email to xmlguy at my hotmail account with R3 BassSawM in the subject and I'll send it to you.

I did, a month ago. You don't see it because the admins aren't listening.

Hey X.,

Send me the files and I'll upload them, I think Sharp (who normally handles the uploads) is having a busy time over there in Ireland. You'll have to send them to me directly via email, rather than using the upload facility. My email address is my user name here, 'at' the name of this site ;-)

Thanks for sticking with us xmlguy (and also Lee S. who fired a note my way) ... much appreciated ! 8)

I've created a R3 corner in the download section and upped xmlguy's patches.

To get the proggies go to the homepage at http://www.korgforums.com and click Downloads and then R3.

Enjoy,

Daz.

p.s. feel free to email any R3 or Radias stuff directly to me and I'll upload it ... don't tell Sharp ;-)

Thanks Daz for the assist! It will probably encourage me to post more R3 patches, since I won't have to check my email so often to be sure that other R3 owners will get the patches quickly.

hey Daz
a bit off-topic here but I thought I'd let you know... the M3-without-the-keys is called M3-M, not M3r as you guys put in the downloads ;)
Not a big deal but I thought that if such a section exists it might as well be named correctly ;)
