Hey, Im brand spankin new in the synth game. I have no clue how to use a synth but I've been a musician for about ten years now. Im just tryin to update my sound. My first and biggest question with the Korg Radias is how do I make beats? Can I make and play a beat on radias to play live songs?
I have cubase and Fruityloops and can navigate moderately well through both. But I wonder if Radias can record looped beats so at the press of a button it will automatically play whatever is programmed with just the Radias component and not have to use Cubase or Fruityloops for live shows. Any help would be cool, thanks.
Anyone out there?

I wouldn't say that Radias makes a good drum computer. It has basic stuff, but it can't compete with Cubase.
Radias is first of all a virtual analog synth.
But it is possible to make some drum patterns with it, and play them live.

My gear: Roland Fantom x8 - Korg Radias - Access Virus b - Roland Jp-8000 - Moog da Rogue
True SynthAntonius, but if you want to do beats at all on the Radias, the step sequencer is where it's done. Sequencing certainly isn't the Radias strong point. Perhaps that Radias should be mated with an ESX-1 as a midi master groovebox, sampler, and multieffects combo, or any other synth with a strong sequencer/style arranger.
Ho Man
This was one of the main selling points for me purchasing the Radias.
The built in drum sets along with the steps sequencer allows for infinite creativity.
Just last night, using my laptop with the Radias sound editor, I tweaked an existing program SEQ2 assign to a drum kit and man ho man was I smiling
