Stupid question - how do I save a song?!?

Post by SilverKG »

OK, I know this will make me sound like a total doofus, but I don't know how to save a song to the TE's internal memory! If I start fiddling around with a song, it's all lost when I power down, and I can't find the answer in the manual...

I know I'll knock myself on the head when someone answers!

Cheers!

Songs can't be saved in internal memory.

When you make something in sequencer, you have to go to MENU, then save .sng data.

Do this and next time you turn on your Extreme, load this .sng data and your songs will be transfered to Extremes working memory.

This is written in manual, but I really don't have the will to search it now. Try reading it again.

LOL.......Now SHRIKE I have no clue as to what you were talking about

SILVERKG

It's in the manual believe me....start around page 117...

You need to purchase a storage medium to save your sequences....

I personally use both a thumbnail (USB stick) and CF card (SANDISK ULTRA II) to save it to and then go to the media page...

If you look in this forum it's been covered before...so check all the pages...

I've had my TE 76 10 days now so I feel where you are at as far as getting around the unit...But I love it....

Little correction:

you have to go to MEDIA mode, then Save tab, then choose to save .sng data.

My bad, didn't see what I wrote.

Everything clear now, smaltonian?
