I love the circular setup, looks like everything is very accessible.

Nah, please post. I like seeing how other people organize their space.

It ain't a competition.

I've been building this studio for about 15 years and am lucky that I own the space that it's in. I started out with a hifi system and a single keyboard (a Kurzweil K2000.) It's taken time and a lot of hard work to get to where it is today.

Re: the circular setup, it's a great space to work in. I built the desk myself (with some help from my dad). It started out as a reception desk, and we got stuck into it with powertools! It's customized around the gear I have.

It's set up to make it easy to expand or to integrate gear when I'm jamming with mates or working with other acts. The only limitation I have is that I don't have an isolation booth, but then again, I mainly work with electronic artists.

Next major studio furniture upgrade will be new rack cases above and below the desk, but it will have to wait a while.

Back in my day, we didn't have water. We only had Oxygen and Hydrogen, and we'd have to just shove them together.

I can't post pictures of my setup right now since I'm at work, but I am probably one of the only people here who do NOT actually have an electribe.

if only those goddamn things would finally be available again in central europe. korg really has distribution issues here, I've been waiting for the stores to restock since about a month. same goes for Kaossilators btw, which I also at least want to try out.

but so far what I use is a Korg R3, a Macbook and a BCD 3000 MIDI controller. and an ESX1 about 17 seconds after it arrives in Austria.

it's very hard having to wait for something you KNOW is perfect for you for months. it really stands in the way of your creativity. so in the meantime, I'm here and learning everything about it that I can so I'll already be an expert when I get it :)

haha. thanks, you're a doll.

although until August I'll have wrestled it from the arms of mr.Korg in Japan himself if need be.

and the dam isn't THAT close to Vienna, Austria :D
