Playing acoustic guitar through keyboard is it possible ??

Post by smaltonian »

Korg e-mailed me how to sample which I think I followed as it said I was using up memory......

But I couldn't hear my guitar through the keyboard amp...Having 1 input in my amp I desire to be able to play ALONG WITH MY SEQUENCES WITH MY ACOUSTIC/ELECTRIC

Do I HAVE to sample to hear my guitar through the amp?

Thanks

No, you can direct-monitor the signal and put it into DSP the same way as other parts. But you cannot record the whole playing as audiotrack (in songmode there is a special function for that but still the recording occupies RAM). In SAMPLING tab (SEQ/COMBI/PROG) make sure the input you use (1 or 2) for plugged guitar is directed into proper BUS (start with L/R, alternatively 1/2 outputs if you use them, for monitoring clean signal), and the level is set high enough (input level/recording level/rear potentiometer setting).

Best regards,
