Have you ever considered a UMPC ?.

Post by Sharp »

Hi everyone.

Just an idea.....
Have a listen to all if this first.
http://refx.com/downloads/nexus/exp_Dance_Vol_1.mp3

From a Pa1X users point of view, or any keyboard player who can't afford to use a laptop on stage, have you ever considered a UMPC ?.

Something like this puppy with it's screen that can also be seen in sunshine.

Now, load ReFX Nexus onto that (mp3 demo able) and you have instant access to some killer sounds. All of which can be recalled from the Pa1X touch screen. You would have no need to every touch the UMPC.

Add to that a program like OMB or BIAB and you have all the styles you could dream off.

For anyone looking for modern sounds, check out this demo of Nexus

It's a cookie thing. Silly of them to have such a feature enabled on the server.

If you go to www.refx.com and then copy the links into the URL bar they will work.

Well I'm interested Sharp.

One thing, is it JUST for Dance (and related) styles, or can you get a more live sound eg for Rock, Pop, Country etc?????????????
Just pretend I've written something funny, yet wise and ironic here...

That's my fault, I accidentally pointed to the Dance Sounds rather than the Orchestral/real world sounds.
Like above, go to www.refx.com and copy ttp://refx.com/downloads/nexus/exp_Dance_Orchestra.mp3 into the URL bar.
