This is very smart way to listen to customer's opinions, I'm proud to be/have been a Korg user, the difference between Korg and other brands seems not to be just in the instrument's quality.

This is a crucial point: improovments on existing instruments will make happy much more users than it would do create new instruments with new features.

Totally agree, Daz; especially for our OASYS.

Jusy filled mine in. However, when I click "Next", on page one, it takes me back to the same page, or is there only one page?. Was expecting a "Two hour" survey here
Thanks Korg

Two different pages.
Had to put it on hold temporarily after the first page as I'll have to back up all my sounds, reload factory disks and do some research... It's been a while since I used any presets!
Thank you for the history of making the best synths with the best sounds. Thank you for reaching out to your fans to get input on product development. While you will never be able to satisfy everyone, listening to your customers will help make your products the best there is.
I have used Korg Products from the K770 to the Triton-Ex and M3. I am not familiar enough with the Oasys yet. In the 90’s I did a large amount of sound creation and programming on an X3 w/ optional ram card. (couldn’t afford an 01w).
I did the survey but felt the need to be more specific about my suggestions. This is not solely based on my desires but also from discussions with many other musicians. I am also looking at this from a standpoint of what would truly keep Korg a profitable company by providing a range of products that are not only functional but also affordable. I realize some suggestions may currently be unfeasible from a cost or technology available standpoint but I believe the future is leading in this direction.
The move to soft synths and samplers used within DAW software is speeding up. An all in one studio in a box may be in the future but with the price of say, an Oasys, one can go far beyond it’s capabilities with a DAW based computer and plug-ins. And besides how many of us can afford an Oasys AND a computer based system and if we could, would want to risk taking this much money to a gig when a laptop and an inexpensive controller keyboard would do?
I know a lot of my suggestions are already part of the concept of the Oasys and M3 series but please bear with me because I want to take the concept further. Here is what I would wish to see:
1. Keyboard workstation: A controller capable, open architecture keyboard with super expandability starting with a stripped down base model in the TR series price range that would have all (or as much as possible) the presets and patch editing of the full model (i.e. Triton-ex). No sequencer, no other costly frills. Just a good ole synth with lots of controls and a large touch screen. Then from there, one could custom upgrade via cards or software all the other features one would want such as sequencing, sampling, audio recording etc. Possibly some upgrades could be done via drop in modules to add additional controller pads/buttons (i.e. drum pads, DAW controls) or I/O routing, Mic preamps, USB/Firewire interface, etc, IF these were not already included. In other words one could start with the sound module/controller for $1000 or less and upgrade to the features that each individual would want to use and do it incrementally on up to an Oasys type price.
2. Module or rack version of above (at least a preset player version).
3. Legacy software: Reissue more synths such as the 01-X-N series and eventually the Triton. (Yea, the X is my thing because I want to use those 500 plus programs and combis I created).
4. USB/Midi Guitar controller module.
That’s it for now. Sorry I was long winded but this is important to me. Thanks again.
