Connect synth to laptop

Hi...
I am new to my synth triton extreme...
could u tell me how to connect my keyboard to laptop... does the lapi need a gud soundcard or sumthing...
does FRUITYLOOPS help in this?

Install the Triton PC drivers on your PC (free from Korg.com website) then connect a usb lead between your Laptop & Triton USB port. Your PC will see it as a device, and can transmit midi (both ways) and data for storage on your media devices such as USB thumb drive, Compact Flash Card or whatever is connected to Triton.

Midi is selected on PC software you are using, as "Triton Extreme" in you Midi input / output settings or preferences within that software you are using on your PC.

You dont need a good soundcard, its all done via USB. Although you could use a USB to midi adaptor, but no need. 1 cable is all ya need.

Fruity loops should be able to send midi once all drivers installed as above.

Korg MIDI Driver.
I downloaded it. But it says tht it requires a Korg's AG-001 cable.
Whats that??

Then all you need is a USB cable.

Then read page 17 of your Operations Guide :)
