I hooked the pa1xpro on the PC,and using the PC i picked sound from 2 different files and sent them to my hard drive then put them on a new filein PA1X hard drive. after disconnectingt the PC from the Pa1x, i tried to use the sounds, i found them names of the files, but the keyboard wouldnt find the sounds

as if they were empty. what have i dont wrong?

Hi Musika,

The sounds for the Pa1x will be in .SET files which have to be Loaded using the Disk menu. The sounds will be stored in USER1, 2 or 3. You may have to enable PCM Auutoload if samples are loaded with the sound. If the .SET file was created on the Pa800 or Pa2x, you can't load it on the Pa1x.

Hi Rob

thanks for the reply, i have the sounds and the pcm files showing on my hard disk, but i cant see anything in the files. so all i did was used the computer to get into the hard drive and to be able to move sounds from 2 files which were PCM and SOUNDS that had already been in the hard drive to a new file that i created in the hard drive.

Hi Muzika,

If you use Disk -> Open on the Pa1x then you will be able to see inside the Sounds folder. You can not do this on a PC.
