Can anyone help me out please !!!!
I have it laptop connected to korg Radias
running win xp sp 2
running version 2 of korg firmware
version 2 of sound editor
and i am able to READ from KORG so i get the instruments
on sound editor in order for me to back it up..
But when i send data back to KORG i still get the
error "device inquiry error" so i cannot transmit to KORG Radias
Please if anyone knows the problem or answer let me know
Thanks in advance...

in preferences, MIDI IN should be set to RADIAS 1 KBD/KNOB
MIDI OUT should be set to RADIAS 1 SOUND.
Make sure your device isn't set to write protect.
I think device enquiry error is refering to the Radias not returning requests for data/etc e.g. not talking. If it doesn't work with the USB still, you could try re-starting... ir a different USB port.
I always make sure I run the Install KORG USB-MIDI Device application when turning the Radias on.

Device Inquiry error here as well... don't seem to get it to work no matter what i try.
I'm running the R3 on MBP and Duet, the R3 is connected to the MBP via USB, and midi is not an option because the Duet doesn't have one. I have installed the USB midi drivers from korg.
Anyway, the USB midi works as i can use it in cubase, the librarian software doesn't give any errors during startup and in the preferences the status of the MIDI IN / OUT changes to not connected if the R3 is not on. So it should work?
I have the sysex enabled, midi routing set to USB, protection set to off..is there more to be done?
I just hate this because i can't use in it's potential and just don't get it why it doesn't work. argh!

Make sure you save it in your Global settings or else it will revert on power off.....ilmeri wrote:...and right after writing this message, for some unknown reason, it just started to work...i mean 3 months of nothing and then...
