switching sequencers mid-playback

Post by rptr »

okay, so i know this sounds like a very imbecilic inquiry--but i saw plenty of threads with VERY obvious answers (that could have been found in seconds in the manual)--HOWEVER

it is my goal to play a drum sequence on sequencer 1. play it for a period of time... let's say for the sake of the situation that it's latched and i play it for 4 loops or so. now... is it possible to switch it to sequencer 2 without completely stopping the program and other arps that may be running?

orrr... can you do this with the modulation sequencer?

if neither of those are possible, could i simply change a sequence--while running--so that the snare drum is (or isn't) included? i know that you can take out steps while it's running, but can i take out specific notes across the board?

if none of my suggestions are viable, is there a way to do what i am describing? even a jerry-rigged solution?

thank you, i know it's kinda noobish...

see, the thing is, i bought this thing thinking it could be an all-in-one trance dj machine... it is, but only to a certain extent. i fear that i may have to expand my arsenal for that to be completely possible... >.<

actually, scrap this question... i'm pretty sure it cannot be done unless i have some other midi controller pumping in notes the whole time...

the radias is so amazing in so many ways.

but in other ways, it just pisses me off!
