Radias controlled from a sequencer and editor simultaneously

Post by mantras »

Is it possible? And how does it work, is the midi drivers multi client so that i can choose the same radias usb midi port for both the sequencer and editor?

I've done this with other gear (e.g., Yamaha DX-200 and VL70-m). You need a multiclient MIDI driver, though.

Why do you need an editor? I don't own a Radias (MS2000R user here), but I would guess it's much easier to edit from the front panel.

Hello, the editor is easier on some things like editing step sequencer and effects. Since it is the USB midi from the Radias i will use i want some one to confirm that the drivers is multi client.

I know this isn't possible with R3 unless you use the STANDARD MIDI in and then use the USB midi to do the editing
