Hello!
I've just bought D888 and have a problemswith files from my PC.
I put mono, 16bit, 44kHz .wav files into song folder. I name it "TRK01VT1.wav" but it doesn't work...
I figure out that one of files from WINDOWS/Media folder is working in D888 when I rename it.
But only one.... Rest of my files from SONAR are not working...
What do you think about it?

If all else fails and you come up with no solution, try get yourself the trail version on dbpoweramp and use that to convert your wave files to wave files.
Might sound stupid doing this, but sometimes software applications add a little extra tagging to wave files that make them non-standard. Your D888 might not like them.
I know I have this program quite often when I'm working with my OASYS and files I generate on my PC. Simply passing them through dbpoweramp always works for me.
Regards.
Sharp.

Hi there,
I have a D888 and was having the same problem- no matter what i did with my WAV files, ie renaming them, converting them etc i could not get the D888 to read the files.
As Sharp said, dbPowerAmp will do the business, I have that software and I have found it works- simple and effective by right clicking the files and converting to WAV, the D888 then reads the files.

Of course files are mono 16bit etc... I can read them as PCM files but you're right that SONAR uses "RIFF WAV" files... but I use different files and they are also not working...jerky wrote:Make sure that the wav-files are in PCM format. I think Sonar uses something else as default.
The files must be mono, 16bit, 44kHz, PCM .wav files named "TRK01VT1.wav", "TRK02VT1.wav" etc.
Thank you for your advices I'll try dBPowerAmp today.
