genius or blasphemy?!

Post by Diego »

Hi!

I found this one on the net: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k_cmmCRVs38

I still don't know how to define it: is it genius or blasphemy?
Jump by Van Halen, on of my masterpiece...
But I really like the way it's arranged!

I love it right to the point where he does the "Jump" bit.
Very interesting for sure.

I've really never heard about him, but I must say his works are interesting!
May worth a deep check on youtube to "preview" the album, and then look forward to buy the CD.

They've played the hell out of this on radio here - Canadian content rules and all that.

Of course, it's only old farts like me who remember his first hit 50 years ago, a song called Diana. He's also known for writing the Sinatra classic, My Way. Gotta give the guy points for endurance, though.

As far as this version of Jump, nah not for me.
