Isn't there some control on karma over whether it's spitting out 16th's or 8th notes? That's critical to a feel of a song, or bass line. I may have to use my TS for bass arps then.

well, i could look into that possibility, but it seems karma is powerful enough that you can use it as a form of arpeggiator, it's just that it's something of a learning curve, as would be rppr as well for me anyway

We want the ability to edit directly in the M3, without have to buy the Karma PC editor. Programmable arpeggiator are in the keyboards since.. ages! except M3Rob Sherratt wrote:The PC editor for Karma is due for release this month. Are you sure the capability to program specific Arpeggio sequences is missing? Did you ask Stephen Kay about it?

It's great I got almost thousand of pages of detailed instruction, too bad I can hardly understand some crucial, technical things especially those concerning this KARMA wonder.
Is it possible to change one note in a one of GE programs?
For example I found GE No. 213 (Subtle Mallet) interesting but I don't like when the note aberrates for a major second down. I tried to modify every editable aspect of this program but it didn't do the trick

There are many ways to help this. I´m not with my Oasys right now, but you can assign your sliders, remove cc notes ect...
also you can select 1/4 to see if this helps...I will try it when I get home.
Also I´d like to say that Karma can do everything a simpel arp. can do, and a lot of stuff you never dreamed of....maby the last thing is just to much????any way, it was for me at the beginning.
And for the love of god...make your combis and programs from zero.
And remember that the ge´s are also affected by the master layer. So with simpel arp. ge´s I would not assign anything to it before the a,b,c and d module is what you want them to be. Unless you need it of course.
Your options are endless. And karma software to it......wow
Unfortunately, NOT.I´d like to say that Karma can do everything a simpel arp. can do
I made this primitive bass line during 5 minutes (see link below). I used another gear with simple arp function. I could not repeat this four notes arp with M3, I tried!
I tried 1056, 1060, 1055 GEs, etc, I triggered it with sliders, spend 20 min.

I hope I am wrong and if anybody knows how to make such a primitive things in M3 Karma, let us know, please.

Hi all,
Regarding user arp creation directly in the M3; please see this link:
http://www.karma-lab.com/forum/showthread.php?t=12776
I posted this when I noticed the M50 can handle arp creation on board. Not wanting to 'read between the lines' or anything here, but I read Stephen Kay's answer with interest....
Cheers.
