Triton beyond techno...

Yeah, check out this guy in San Diego named fwdthought, it's electronic, but very nuanced and almost jazzy. There's another project of his that is more like dub techno, I guess, but VERY cool stuff. Check it

funny, i ask myself the same question: why every video on youtube with electribe is about crappy techno and trance? You can do much more with the mk1 and mk2, and of course, with the emx and esx.

I made 2 videos of myself playing my ES1. Here they are:
Cool demo dude.
Anybody doing anything like Four Tet? I just discovered that dude and he's amazing! I have no idea how he does it. Lots of patience slicing and dicing I guess.
Does Four Tet use an Electribe?

I dont know if he uses an electribe but Four tet uses a software called Audiomulch for live perfomances. He also uses a sampler called Dr Sample

If u like four tet maybe you'll like this: http://www.lastfm.es/music/Blit/Sano+y+salvo

I use the Electribe Em1 to tempo sync my Roland CR78 analog drum machine, sequencing extra rhythm and synth parts in time when needed, these 2 run alongside a Roland SP404 (model up from Four Tet's 303 Dr Sampler) and a few guitars and lots of old delays and echos.

I like a lot of electronic/rock music made in the late 60's early 70's by bands like Neu!, Harmonia, Cluster, Eno, Silver Apples, USA and aim to take a similar approach to music but hopefully with an original sound due to the use of some of the more modern gear in my set-up ;)

Hi,

I have a few tracks that are solely the EMX-1 on my first album: caqqn, aiqx4, and 2geix. I wouldn't consider them techno personally, so maybe you'd find them interesting? You can check them out at the following links:

Thanks for listening. Hope you enjoy. :)

Thanks guys. :)

Split: I enjoyed your short delay work and the main melody line on "beat 2" especially. Nice triple meter on the first one, too.

Lobo: Parts of the percussion and soundscape layering in "ACIDsketch" reminded me of a couple of tracks on Plaid's Spokes album, especially "Crumax Rings" on that album. Good stuff.

I haven't put up any videos yet -- something I keep meaning to do but haven't found the time.

Anyway, thanks for checking out my work. I'll let you know if I upload some video, if you're interested.

I made a sick ass rap beat, but sadly (oh I got real f*ck*ng depressed) I wrote over it

lucky I have a long recording of it with many variations (but not so great in itself)

maybe Ill be able to remake it(probably not)
or just remix it

..

I create one-man-band grooves using two keyboards, a drum machine, and Electribe EA-1 mkII for basses and effects. I buiild the groove until everything is singing at once. Think Thomas Dolby, sans MAC, or Ladytron, sans hot chicks.
